Various types and services of batteries may be acquired through several contracted suppliers through Show Me Shop. Purchases outside of Show Me Shop and less than $5,000 may be purchased using the University One Card. Purchases between $5,000 and $10,000 require a PeopleSoft Requisition.

Before making a purchase from Sam's Club, departments should check the Show Me Shop catalogs for the item(s) needed, or consult with a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to determine if another option for purchase exists. If no other source is available, orders may be placed following the campus specific processes.

Drones and other unmanned aircraft systems, including model aircraft require additional review and approval before purchase. Contact the Sourcing contact listed for guidance.
Purchases over $10,000 require competitive quotes, or written bid requests with detailed specifications prepared by UM Procurement.
Animals purchased for research use must be approved by the respective Campus Lab Animal Research Center Office. Contact your Campus office for assistance on how to proceed and if any existing contracts are in place. Depending on the campus, use of the One Card might not be approved.

Apparel or uniforms worn by staff or students, or fabrics used for various University related projects (NOT promotional items).

Purchases from Amazon must be made using the University's Business Prime Account through Show Me Shop. Departments are not eligible to have their own Business Prime Account. The One Card should not be used to pay for items from Amazon. Department are encouraged to review pricing and availability from all Show Me Shop suppliers before proceeding with their purchase.
